Welcome to Open Lens, Made In Her Image’s tranformative open education initiative, providing aspiring filmmakers with free, comprehensive courses, camps, community and curriculum that cover various aspects of the craft free or low cost.

This inaugural launch of our curriculum unveils an accelerated version of the OPEN LENS learning model, powered by Made in Her Image. Our commitment to open education and innovative curriculum design shapes this transformative learning journey.

With focus on empowerment, diversity, and equitable access, OPEN LENS empowers storytellers from all walks of life to shape the future of filmmaking with confidence and authenticity.

We serve young women, girls and non-binary youth of color aged 13-17 within the realms of film making, media and technology. The Open Lens focus Is curated for all of us!
